To the Populace of the Steppes, Lindenwood, and Glaslyn

I just want to let everyone know I have already contacted our local
marshals, and other officials regarding this matter. We are currently
discussing what this means for their offices and forwarding our questions
to the appropriate superiors.

I realize this message from Meg Baron will generate a lot of questions
and angst, but PLEASE do not suspend your activities, which are so
important to the life of our organization. Let's work together to find
out what needs to change in order for you activity to continue.

As I read this, it represents a very small change in the way we do things
locally. Until we can get more definitive answers I would simply ask
that if you have "advertised" your combat related activity on an official
web-site or group list, please have anyone who cannot show you a current
blue membership card sign a waiver. At the end of the month, mail those
waivers to me at the address in the SteppesLetter, and I will take care
of it from there. Your local marshal has waivers, they can be downloaded
from Ansteorra.org (or so I'm told), or contact me and I will happily
mail a few to you.
