Subject: An invitation

Join us for the world premiere of "The Lovers"

By Mark-Brian Sonna
With music from various Medieval Composers

Based on actual events that have inspired countless artists over the centuries The Lovers is a true story. It is a story of love, loss, and hope. See why painters such as Degrain, writers like Shakespeare, and composers such as Donizetti have all found inspiration in this magnificent story. What makes our production unique is that not only are we are presenting the story as it occurred, but we are also weaving weaves popular Spanish music from the Middle Ages making this the most unique musical you will ever see. The eleven musical compositions that make up the score date back to the year 1190 and have not been performed in North Texas.

So what is the story about? We don't want to spoil it, so come join us and experience it for yourself! Some details can be found on the show’s website www.TheLovers.us <http://www.thelovers.us/> On Opening Night, January 31, we will host an after show reception with the artists; the ticket price includes food and refreshments.

The cast stars some very well known classically trained singers and musicians known in Texas including Richard Rollin, Tim Cahill, Alan Dudley, Delynda Johnson Moravec. Making their professional stage debuts as the lovers are Roxi Taylor and Michael Zimmermann. Rounding out the cast are the very talented Frances Muñoz from Teatro Dallas and after a long absence from the stage Andrew Chernack; and making a brief cameo is Mark-Brian Sonna.

The show opens on Thursday, January 31, 2008 and will run through February 16, 2008. The show runs Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8 PM with an additional Saturday Matinee performance on Saturday, February 9th at 2:30 PM at the Stone Cottage Theatre 15650 Addison Road, Addison, TX 75001.
