Your Excellency,

The question then is: If the event were held in Hellsgate land, would enough
people plan to camp?  Or would they make the drive home or find crash space
somewhere?  Just trying to brainstorm this a bit.  I personally prefer
camping events, but not when there are only a few of us there. Camping is
generally a case of "the more the merrier".

As for the scheduling, I am sure we will look into the viability of a change
and make sure we in fact are in accordance with the laws and policies.

I would have to agree with Master Tivar that the biggest reason why people
did not camp was the close proximity to home.  Many people do not camp at
Bryn Gwlad's events for the same reason.

As far as moving it to the last weekend in October, please be aware that
Bryn Gwlad's event in 2013 will be the weekend that includes November 14th.
We would have preferred to have had it the last weekend in October but due
to the recent Kingdom Calendar laws, most of the weekends have to be filled
before events can be doubled up.  I do not know if enough weekends have been
filled yet or not for 2013.  However, that is why the seneschal of Hellsgate
requested the weekend he did.
