After reading  a post in the book of faces by Her Excellency, it seems there is a move underway to place all Kingdom level events on the second weekend of the Month. This may be a concern for the Saturday practices looking forward, This calendar move started this year and will be complete next year. Just a thought.

Had a great time at populace last night. Thanks to all who attended and thank you to their excellencies for gracing us with their presence.  We made more steps forward last night and clarified some things from last months meeting.
Key information for everyone.

Our next Tiny Tourney is 2 May 2013, Lord Valentine is the POC for the tourney.

A deposit for a site for the Commaders Crucible March 2014, will be made for the Copperas Cove site we used for Yule.  We will continue to search for a camping area so that the event can return to being a camping event.

Geekfest is coming up in August.

August 31st at 1pm we will again be holding a Stronghold luncheon at Carl Levin Park. Garb is optional. This will also hopefully serve as a meet and greet for new comers. So if you want to wear garb, please do.  The mix at the last one worked quite well. Joscelin will be once again handling the food for the Pot-Luck.

The quarterly Tiny Tourney will no longer have a theme.  The July TT will hopefully include Rapier as well as Heavy.

Starting in June 2013, the second Saturday of the month is now designated as a social/fighter practice. This will start at 10ish on Saturday morning at Longbranch Park.  We have talked to a number of people recently that are interested in joining all of our fun, however Thursdays/week nights don't work for them. So we decided to try the change for awhile.  This shift to 2nd Saturday does in no way change our regular schedule it rather adds another chance for more fun.

Barony of Bryn Gwlad is hosting a Tiny Tourney on 30 April.

Don't forget that tonight being the 1st Thursday of the month it is Garb night.  It will only be about 54 degrees so dress accordingly.  Layers and or cloaks. Those of us who are always there know about the winds.
