[Hellsgate] The next Tiny Tourney

After reading a few replies, and talking to a few people, I think we should try this out the first time without a direct media involvement. I want to call it "Fight for the Feast Tournament" I already made a banner photo for it (pending the groups approval for the tourney) I think this is something we could do yearly. Thank you to those who have already commented or talked to me and I look forward to more discussion on this.

Greeting to the list!,

Though we have not yet finished the works of the Tiny Tourney a scant few days away. I would like to volunteer to "autocrat" the next one.

Here then are the details. I would like to host it in lieu of the second Saturday Practice on November 9th. I would like to have contact with local news media of both TV and print forms. I wish to open the event audience to the public at a cost of a non perishable food item to go to a local food bank for Thanksgiving. I would need people to work on Largess for those fighters in attendance and some type of award for winning. I figure we can get a City to host a venue for free if we mention it as their contribution to the event. The media loves these types of human interest stories around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hungry families get food and we get some free publicity and a positive local buzz. 


I have done similar things in the past. In High school we got HEB to make a list of food items and local businesses to sponsor teams at the cost of the list of food. An Hour before the HEB opened the teams raced down the shopping aisles to fill the list top teams got prizes and the food was donated to a local food pantry. Local TV and papers covered it.

I welcome any and all questions. I would like to have this voted upon at populace so we can get started ASAP
