I must agree with Mel. I had a lot of fun at Candlemas. Congratulations to those that recieved awards and those that competed! Have to make this short as the bell is about to ring. Can't wait to see ya'll on Wed!

Lets try this again, I was typing and I don't know what I did but my email went away!!
I was saying Candlemas was so much fun last night, the only thing I would of changed was that we didn't realize you needed to sign up for a table to sit during feast. We all winded up sitting apart. Other than that some great things happened for our artisans yesterday. Timur, Josclyn,and Havarr enter the champion competition and all did amazing. Johanna entered the novice and showed very well indeed.
 Timur and I have said this over and over but I will say it again. We are open to all artisans who want to enter a competition, or needs advice on documentation or display. Anyone can take advantage of this, come to us and talk, we want you to do well in the A&S arena and we are committed to Hellsgate.

If you are new to our area or new to the SCA, please consider going to an event soon. We want you there, we want to show you off, we want to show we are growing, but most of all you would have such a good time and be able to experience the SCA in a different way other than our social on Thursday night.
Sometimes we older members forget to make sure you know you are invited, so consider this an invitation to an event coming soon.

OH! Wait isn't there some new Lords and Ladies to our fair group?
Congrats to Lord Stephan, Lord Havarr, and Lady Asta, Lady Johanna I believe it was The Muse of Bryn Gwlad you were awarded.

All deserved their award, but a special little hug to our Lord Stephan. He stepped in last minute and ran the brewing competition for the barony. Lord Stephan you are unselfish, giving, kind, you do things for the right reason, you inspire me. In my eyes you were a Lord well before last night. I am proud to say you are my friend and Hellsgate is a better place because of your example. Keep doing what you are doing!!!!
