It depends, but if your email bounces or you're sending from an email address that isn't subscribed to the list the messages may be held for approval.  Usually this is done to prevent spam from flooding the list. It should give a reason that it is being held for approval in the message informing you that your message is being held. Lord Eric should be able to fix it or put you in contact with someone who can.

It appears all of the messages I send to the Stronghold list are being moderated and not forwarded to the list. Can someone please give me an explanation?
