Technically, a background equally divided between a metal and a color
is neutral for contrast purposes, so you don't need "good contrast"
(metal on color or the reverse), just good enough to see.  Rummage
thru RfS VIII for the details.  In this case, argent halfway on Or is
OK, though not great visually.
