That's not "chevronelly", or there's be one more (very truncated)
black chevron area on each side.  There is no guarantee that N
chevrons issuant from anywhere would just happen to parallel the
"per saltire" line of division.  I would strongly argue for
return on grounds of non-period style, unblazonability, and
unreproducability from an attempted blazon.

(P.S. The "scientists say bumblebees can't fly" thing is an urban
legend.)
