"Saereid Sigmundsdottir." The documentation she gave me is a book called
"Poems of the Vikings," translated by Patricia Terry, Bobbs-Merrill Co, Inc,
Indianapolis, 1969. The glossary of names identifies Saereid as Hunding's
mother. Text on page 118 (written by the translator - not actually found in
one of the poems) says " There was a king named Hjorvard. He had four wives. Alfhild was the mother of his son Hedin, Saereid was the mother of Humlung, Sinrjod was the mother of Hymling."
