ANSTHRLD - Old submission (from 1995) query (& conflict check)

An old submittor (or actually, his wife), gave me a call today, and is
interested in trying to resurrect and resubmit a device he attempted to
register back in 1995. According to the *extremely useful* Index files kept
by Daniel, Theodore Bernand Gardener's device was submitted in ILoI 3/95
33, and returned in Kingdom in 5/95 (AG 8/95a). My collection of 1995-era
AGs is rather sparse; I don't have the 3/95 one, nor the 8/95 one, but the
ICC was printed in the 6/95 AG, and gave no indication as to why the device
might be returned. According to the submittor's wife, it was returned for a
redraw, on account of "the bear looked like a wolf."

Can someone help me find out why the device was indeed returned, and if it
was just for a redraw, help me conflict check it?

The device is "Azure, a bear sejant erect argent within a border argent
charged with eight daisies gules seeded Or."

Everything *seems* clear, but I'm still pretty new to conflict checking. I've
assumed no CD between sejant erect, rampant, and erect (and statant
erect?)

Small Grey Bear, Shire of the (Feb 1989): Azure, a bear argent within a
laurel wreath Or, all between three compass stars argent.
1 CD for removal of half the primary group (laurel wreath)? and another
for change of type of secondary. (And another for addition of tertiaries?)

Achsa of Beresford (May 1988): Azure, a bear rampant and in chief two
fleams, all within a bordure argent.
1 CD for removal of fleams, 1 CD for addition of tertiaries

Matthias von Würzburg (Jul 1999): Azure, a bear rampant and on a chief
argent three seeblatter azure.
1 CD for change of type of secondary, 1 CD for change of type &
number & color of tertiaries (?)

Vaclav Semjaka (Dec 1990): Azure, a bear rampant and on a gore argent a
mullet of three points gules.
	Ditto previous.

Brynach MacCallum (Aug 1985): Azure, a bear rampant argent vested in a
fool's motley lozengy Or and gules, grasping in both forepaws a needle
point to base Or.
	I'm guessing the fool's motley doesn't count as a CD. I know there's 1
CD for addition of the bordure; 1 for addition of the tertiaries?

Aleksandr Ivanovitch Budishchev (Sep 1992): Azure, a bear rampant
between two flaunches argent, each charged with a bow, string to center
sable.
1 CD for change of type of secondary, and another CD for change of
tertiaries

Alix de Coucy (Apr 1998): Azure, a bear statant erect muzzled, on a chief
argent four retorts gules.
1 CD for change of type of secondary, 1 CD for change of type and
number of tertiaries? (Whatever a 'retort' is...)

Leifr Beorn Hrolfsson (Aug 1998): Barry wavy azure and Or, a sea bear
erect argent.
1 CD for change of field, 1 CD for addition of secondary.

Gottfrid Liljebjörn (Sep 1986): Quarterly pean and purpure, a bear rampant
within a bordure argent.
1 CD for change of field, 1 CD for addition of tertiaries

There were several others, who effectively matched what I listed above. Did
I missing anything obvious?
