Norwegian/Scots names have been ruled registerable
with one weirdness. Ulvar MacVanis, 07/00
Given the closeness of Norwegian and Danish in the
post Norse era I maintain this precedent also
extends to Danish/Scots names.  I could find no excuse
to return it.

I agree with Gunnvor that there is no evidence located
that this name or a verb form for that matter was
used in a Greek place-name.  We need at least a model
for this type of name and in Greek that is quite
a task.
