Greetings:
As I do not know a herald from each barony, or even the greater regions I
addressed the Court Herald's of the Baronies. Now I am sure there are some
heralds on this list, that are not currently holding a Baronial office that
could make this announcement on my behalf. And of coarce proper largess
would have been arranged for those who wished to convey this message in
their local baronies at court, if allowed by the B&B. Not being a great
magnet, or knight, I do not have a personal herald that may travel to each
region on my behalf, thus the request for the local heralds assistance.
After further reflection upon Lord Alden's words, I would not dane to
trouble the crown's magnets who are represented by their Court Heralds. In
truth, squires would never undertake such a task on their own due to cost,
and station. However they did participate in some tournaments. Never the
less I will still hold the challenge. Thanks for the heads up Lord Alden.

Alden said:

"Replying as a baronial herald, I must say that it is not the decision of
the court herald to decide what gets announced or not during court. That is
the call of the Crown or B&B............................ "

"In addition, I would not recommend using the court herald to issue your
announcement. He/She has enough to do without keeping track of additional
business that isn't that of the Crown (B&B)....................."

"A court herald is in service to the Crown (B&B), so why would they be
serving anyone else? Also, someone employing their own personal herald
shows to everyone that he/she is of means and can afford the "finer things",
such as a person to carry their words for them about the kingdom."

Respectfully,

Lord Rodrigo de Navarre
