There is a byname in French similar to Faelyne but
it wouldn't be a given name. Fáelán is the Gaelic
name of a saint died 656 in Flanders.

Maurienne is a region in France given on page 675
of Morlet's Noms de Famille.  It appears to be a valley
in Savoy.  It would be de Maurienne or possibly
de la Maruienne but not du.
