[ANSTHRLD] Revised Conflict Check Request

Howdy all!

As I read through the emails on the topic of the historian's badge 
yesterday (having gotten back from the holidays), I had several thoughts 
based on the responses.  My first thought involved some options using a red 
sun based on Master Robin's post.  My second thought centered around the 
issue that he raised.  So, it was my intent to raise the gold sun versus 
red sun question as a note on this list to draw out the historical reasons 
for the red sun in the Ansteorran arms and then take the commentary back to 
our historian and see what she wanted to do.

But, last night Annes got a message to me that she was aware of the 
discussion (and the historical reasons for the red sun).  Based on the 
historical reasons for the red sun, it seems more appropriate to her that 
the historian's badge have the red sun.  So, our having that conversation 
is a moot point and I'll pass on it.

New blazon for conflict check:
Per fess sable and Or, on an open book Or a mullet of five greater and five 
lesser points sable, a demi-sun issuant from base gules.
