[ANSTHRLD] Laurel/CoA Updates

As a quick FYI,

The July Laurel Letter of Acceptances and Returns (LoAR) has begun arriving 
in postal mailboxes.  The results will be published in a future Gazette 
(likely February since January is ready I believe) but there was one update 
included that I wanted to share with the heraldic community at large.

The Laurel team has a goal of publishing the August, September, October, 
November, and December LoARs in the month of January.  This would mean that 
a lot of decisions we have been awaiting will be getting caught 
up.  But...  I want to stress two things.  First, accomplishing five LoARs 
in one month is their GOAL.  It will be a monumental accomplishment if they 
make it but it remains a goal until it is done.  Be cautious about telling 
submitters that they WILL have word in January until their letter actually 
happens.

Second, the July Laurel Letter warns that these five upcoming letters will 
be produced with less of the extra review and proofreading that normally 
occurs.  I quote:  "We will endeavor to keep the quality high but the 
priority at this time is to get the decisions published."  Be tolerant for 
possible typos.  If a registration or return appears to include an error 
(from your perspective), I will designate an Ansteorran herald (after the 
first of the year) to be our clearing house for such questions on these 
five letters and to coordinate those with the CoA in the best manner 
possible.  Rather than bury the Laurel team with questions (if any), let's 
give them an orderly set of inquiries if (big IF) something appears 
off.  Look for that designated herald after January 1.
