Just curious, where did this name come from?  Was it constructed from modern

It is a "Germanization" of his personal nickname...He was going the "name of
a tavern/inn" route because he thought it might be easier than trying to
prove it was a descriptive  nickname.  However, as he is a large, rather
hairy man with a very "sweet" disposition, the nickname "sugar bear" is a
descriptive nickname he was given (by his wife...none the less) so he was
interested in trying to incorporate that into his persona's life.
