[ANSTHRLD] bordure Question

Greetings,
I tried looking this one up but cannot find a reference to it. When a 
device is being surrounded by smaller multiple charges lets say stars, 
would it be called a bordure of "stars" or would it be called something 
else? If there is reference could someone please direct me to it so I 
may read up.
