This should be clear.
 
1) Per fess embattled versus plain line per fess (complex line versus
plain line) - 1 CD
2) Griffin versus dragon is substantial change to more than half the
primary charge group  - 1 CD
(the griffin and cross are co-primary charges, the dragon and crossed
swords are co-primary charges)
3) Statant versus segreant is change of posture - 1 CD
4) Two crossed swords versus a cross should also get you a CD.
 
Daniel is the rules expert and I am not sure that you can claim all of
the CDs that affect the primary charge group at the same time but...
You have at least one countable CD in the primary charge group and you
have the complex versus plain line of division on the field and that
gives you 2 CDs.

I am weighing the CD's for the following device against a registered
device which may be a conflict.

Proposed:       Per fess argent and azure, a dragon statant sable and a
two swords in saltire argent. 

Shield divided in two (per fess) top is silver, bottom is blue. Top
charge is a dragon normal stance black in color. 

Bottom charge is 2 swords crossed, silver in color. 

 

My reading, 1 CD for the different charge in the upper, 1 CD for
different posture (Rfs. X4h), 1 CD for different

charge on bottom. No CD for embattled fess division. Clear.

Anybody see any errors?
