Do you really use "barding" to describe singing/music/etc entertainment?
Because barding is what a horse wears. I could conceivably expect
someone to receive a Thistle in Barding - ie, they've made great clothes
for their horse, not because they're a great entertainer.

117 Thistles for Bardcraft / Bardic [Arts]. Another 6 for singing, 6 for
poetry, 6 for performance [arts], 2 for balladry, 1 for storytelling, 1
for troubadoric arts, 1 narrative arts, 1 entertaining, plus maybe
some other singletons I missed.
Not counting the foolery, prestidigitation, drama, music, instrumental
music, dance, etc. that possibly could fall under the greater
"performance arts/entertainer" umbrella.
I just had to go count them. It's what I am.
