That would pretty cleanly handle the issue.  The actual investing date
of the individual is needed if they receive a backdated CB after
stepping down.  The date to use for their backdating should be in the
entry notes.  Having the baronial elevation dates as the dates for the
OP entry while they are seated would greatly help when you have landed
barons/baronesses fighting in Crown Tourney, or any other time that a
March of Precedence is called.
