Personally I have not experience a submitter who cared at all what the
"heralds" had to say if their device passed and if it failed all they really
wanted to know was "what do I have to do to fix it". All of the extraneous
comments ,insinuation or even insults just lead to hurt feelings and
possibly defensiveness over something that might actually not be too
important to the submitter in the end anyway. I have seen them (negative
comments) in the past, I've been in meetings where they(still negative
comments) have been made. Heck, I have even laughed along with others
present (shock) at some of the submissions made. BUT as a responsible
herald, I bring only positive information back to my clients. (ie"Sorry but
we need to submit a redo and this is what we can do that should work" or
"Hey Awesome- passed on the 1st time through, congratulations!". So if
there is a place where commentary can be seen, fine but why would anyone
want to send a client to it, they will just need a herald to interpret it
anyway(most of the time) in which case the herald can go see what is up and
simply be respectful of their clients feelings when brining back
information.
