The name that was returned was <Rhiannon nein Bryan vic Lachlan>. The given
name <Rhiannon> was ruled an SCA compatible Welsh name; using an SCA
compatible name (instead of one actually documentation to humans in period)
is in itself a step from period practice (aka a weirdness).

The byname <nein Bryan vic Lachlan> is entirely Scots. Mixing Welsh (or
English) with Scots is considered a step from period practice (a weirdness),
and that's how the count got to '2'.

Not her original submission, since <vic Lachlan> is still Scots. If she's
changing the langauge of the byname in some way, then that may clear the
mixed-language weirdness.
