Ooooh, thanks Francois, I'm going to forward this one to the scribes list.  
  If you want a actual book to read, I have two or three that I get to from time to time.  
  There are also some online classes at universities on Paleography, as well: I think I have a site bookmarked for Cambridge or Oxford.
