[ANSTHRLD] Is a goat a goat?

According to Brooke-Little, the default is a male goat with horns and a beard.  There is no default posture.  The PicDic adds they have cloven hooves.  Parker doesn't explicitly say, but the PicDic default is implied since the horns, beard and hooves can be blazoned a different tincture from the rest of the beast.  (e.g. "Azure, on a mount in base vert, a goat statant argent, armed, hoofed, abd bearded Or." Burgh of Haddington, Scotland)

Male goats have horns, female goats do not.

What is the default for goats, horned or not.

Should you specify a horned goat or a male goat to be sure it is horned if
horned is not the default? (I doubt that billygoat would be heraldicly
correct.)
