[ANSTHRLD] Name Help Request - Late Period Irish O'Hagan

A submitter’s research found “O’Hagan” in two Gray-Area sources:
Pardon List (1609) @ http://www.ulsterancestry.com/ua-free-State_Papers_1601.html
Ship’s List (1607) @ http://www.flightoftheearls.ie/others.htm#

To my untrained eye, these look like normalized spellings.  If so, can anyone figure out the period spelling?  My best attempt was “Ó hEoghain” but a transliteration at
http://www.medievalscotland.org/kmo/AnnalsIndex/Masculine/Eogan.shtml
implies the nominative “Eoghan” was pronounced like “Owen”.

Sound (HAY-gun) is most important to the submitter.

Thanks,
Tostig
