There seems to be some confusion on whether a court barony is only nobility or whether it also conveys a Grant of Arms.

So, to be clear... A Court Barony carries a Grant of Arms. A Court Baron would be both a Grant and a Noble.

A review of the Award Constitutions shows a Court Barony listed with the Grant Orders in the Table of Contents but the actual constitution entry is missing in the document online. The Court Report form has (for at least the last decade) listed the Court Barony with Grant Awards to reflect this. The Kingdom Order of March document does not make this clear since a Court Barony has precedence over all other Grant items and it is now broken out.

But, the defining statement is in Kingdom Law. Article III, Section 3, Subsection 3 specifically states in point "B": "The title of court baron or baroness carries a Grant of Arms."

In Coblaith's example quoted about Don Iago, he was already a Grant, being a White Scarf. But a person who held no Grant order memberships nor a plain Grant of Arms who was made a Court Baron would be both a Grant and a Noble for Achievement purposes.
