My apologies.  Make that "scriptwriters"?  For the record, I didn't have 
present-day movies in mind, but the ones from the Golden Age of Hollywood.  
Should have made myself more clear.  In fact, I totally geeked out during 
Shakespeare in Love, in the scene where he's in a writing frenzy, and he cuts 
his pens *the right way*.
