[ANSTHRLD] Question on software

I personally use Corel Draw, but have been meaning to look into
Inkscape, as I'm all about the free software. :)

As several other people have mentioned, vectorized images are the way
to go when you can, as they rescale up or down without going funky
jaggy on you. Finding vectorized images fortunately is a bit easier
than it used to be: there's a commonly used format now, called SVG
(Scalable Vector Graphics, I believe), that most programs will import
happily. A great place to mine for .svg graphics is
commons.wikimedia.org. Search for, say, "bear heraldry" and find the
category on bears in heraldry! :)
