On a slightly different note,
Most chivalric fighters regularly display more than they are entitled
too. After all when Joe stick jock takes the field with shield in hand
isn't he now the supporter.

That bit a levity aside, I tend to agree that people do hold off for more
of the cool stuff, I know I have. Yes, I know I am a bad example in that I
still need to submit my registration but at least I do have supporters now
and can have an achievement that looks like one to hang on a wall. Since
those are currently reserved to nobility, I had to win crown or get a
barony and only 1 of those did I have any kind of perceived control of.
Is my anecdote a sound basis for my belief; probably not but until we poll
the populous we wont know. I also tend to agree we need to discuss things
a lot more before we go to that step because I am also sure there will be
questions form them as well as the Crown.

On that note though I still think once the possible changes are determined;
we should probably ask the populous "IF these changes were made; would you
register" or better yet " Here are the proposed changes; if these were made
law WHAT are you submitting for registration". Then we will have valid
numbers to present beside the proposal for Star and ultimately the Crown to
use when making their decision.

Many other thoughts of mine have already been expressed more eloquently
than I could.
