What he said.

The Standards for Evaluation of Names and Armory unaccountably neglect
to mention Serena's dresses, though in retrospect it's an obvious
lapsus calami and I shall bring it to Palimpsest's attention at once. [0]
The proximate cause of death is SofE (SANE [1], Ruliana, we're working
on a nickname) A.5.G.1.e:
e. Fieldless Armory: A piece of fieldless armory automatically has one
distinct change (DC) from any other armory, fielded or fieldless.
and the necessary second DC does not exist. (A.5.G is the analogue to
RfS X.4.)
And A.5.E (the analogue to X.1, X.2, and X.3) doesn't clear it either
because there are no changes to the primary charge group.

[0] I sound like a teleologan.
[1] SANE is my favorite: then we can say that the heraldic rules
are in SANE.
