The LoIs and LoCs are covered by the functionality I'm using. They
would be visible to anyone with CoA commenter level access. And that
makes sense given that the original audience were the CoA commenters and
Laurel.
When I run across the type of stuff that was communication between
Laurel and a kingdom, but was not intended to have an audience of the
general CoA, I'm putting that under the Laurel Staff area. The idea
there is that folks who have Laurel Staff rights in OSCAR can see it,
but no one else. That mimics the behavior of having a staff member in
your house who could go out into the file cabinets and pull stuff.
Thinking about it, these both work from the Laurel side of the equation,
but I'll have to think about whether it works from the kingdom side of
the equation. Hmmm... We would have to check with Istvan to see if
there's a way to set particular folders to have access to principal
heralds. There's already a tracking for that set of rights because the
PH for a kingdom can add and remove rights for account holders for their
kingdom. I just don't know if it would be possible to add a right to
see a particular folder to that set of rights. So, for example, if we
had an Ansteorra folder in the Laurel Staff folder area, would it be
possible (and if so, how much work would it be) to make it so that the
PH for Ansteorra could see the Laurel Staff->Ansteorra folder, not just
Laurel Staff. If this would be possible, I could reorganize the Laurel
Staff area (it only has a few items in it right now) into kingdom areas.
Something to think about, anyway. And I think he's got other pieces
of OSCAR higher on his To Do list right now than upload folder access.
So, even if it's possible, I don't think it would be immediate.
