[ANSTHRLD] Round Table Re-cap

would not be too concerned about the use of FB for consults.

The SCA Heralds grp has been doing so for quite some time no with no major issues.
I would however instill the importance of individual submitters to copy the threads important to them to their local machines, just for ease of use of finding them later, that page gets busy and things get buried quick.
That sad the page search function works reasonable well.

And doubt that FB is going to have the least bit of interest in someone's SCA name or coat of arms....

Cheers!

Agree with Magnus's accessment of Facebook.
I work in IT; my company allows use of some social networks, such as Yahoo Groups, but not Facebook - too many issues, too few safegards.
If you intend to retain archives or history of those Heraldic Consultations on FB, check out the FB options.
It's my understanding that FB doesn't retain historical archives in perpetuity, so downloads or archive systems (Archivebook) maybe necessary if you intend to record for search purposes the Ansteorran heraldic commentary.

Cheers, Hillary
(not a huge supporter of FB)
