What non-HTML formatting are you referring to? If you're thinking of
multiple spaces: HTML considers multiple whitespace characters to be
equivalent to a space (in general), and I expect that OSCAR simply
dumps the entered text into the Web page verbatim.
I think OSCAR translates hard line breaks into HTML line breaks (br
elements).
