HERB - documenting herbs for treating epilepsy?

Disclaimer: I understand about appropriate/inappropriate uses of traditional
and alternative medicine (and about not trying to practice medicine without a
license), so the following question is purely academic. 

That said: can anyone on this list tell me of any herbal remedies used in the
past/present to treat epilepsy (identifying sources, etc.)? Thank you.
