I thank you very much for the compliment. But I think you may be
exagerating just a tad. (shakes head, smiles to self) You people are all
nuts. Very nice, very wonderful, very supportive, but NUTS! I adore you all.

For my part of this little project, I plan on spending most of this
coming weekend plotting a dB format that will take advantage of all the
good info already out there in webland (links are your friends) as well as
have spaces for SCA specific info. I have collected many emails and a
goodly number of URLs to look at. This will be much more fun than
watching it rain on my lawn-turned-jungle.

For those of you concerned about dangers; my father was a physician who
took his Hippocratic Oath very seriously. I lost my copy when the house
burned down, but one of the more important phrases is "do no harm". One
of the best ways to avoid "doing harm" is to fully inform people to the
best of your knowledge. There are myriad books containing specific
dosages for things taken internally. I do not think we need to repeat
this type of information in our dB.

I look at this as more of a starting point for serious researchers, a
compendium of the many names a plant has been called through the ages,
and some arrows (links) pointing toward the good works of others. This
will also serve to answer the questions of the curious. As for the
website itself - growth, yes; redundancy, as little as possible.
