One thing I use for cramps is an oil I make up that's a mixture of Clary
Sage, Lemon Grass, Ylang Ylang, and a couple of drops of cinnamon oil
mixed in with a neutral carrier oil. (all of the above are essential
oils.) I then massage it into my belly while waiting for the ibuprofen,
ketoprofen, or naproxyn sodium to kick in. :)

I have also found something called "cramp bark" that I've been told is
very good for cramps when made into a decoction. I've been looking for
an herbal remedy for pms/cramps that doesn't involve a diuretic (It's
summer in Texas, I don't need to be dehydrated any more than I am.), but
I think I'm going to have to mix something up on my own.
