I'll heartily second that motion! And there is a lovely coffee-table type
book out now called "Brother Cadfael's Herb Garden" (Or something close to
that.). It doesn't have enough historical info to make it quite worth the
$30.00 price tag to me so far--but once I find it on a good enough sale it's
coming home with me! ;-)
Also in the murder mystery and herb line is a series set in modern times,
about a lady lawyer in Texas, who "drops out" to run an herb shop--and solve
the mysteries that cross her path, of course! The author's name is Susan
(Whitteg?) Albert (Spelling approximate!), and the first book in the series is
called "Thyme of Death". Great fun, and even a few herb use inspirations!
