HERB - want a book?

Hey Guys,

I just received a catalogue here at work from William Patrick Watson,
Antiquarian Books, who has some herbals for sale if anyone is
interested....  They are offering a copy of Dioscorides, De Medicinali
merteria (1550) ed. for 2550 pounds.....

Maybe if we all chip in.....
The other edition they have which came out in 1552 is priced at 1750 pounds.

Seriously the nicest thing about the catalogue is they have plates of some
of the book and pages.  In color and black and white.


Very nice..  a professor gets the catalog and throws it away......
