Clare here:

Our guild is in a state of change and I will see how it evolves.
the first incarnation of the guild went okay, but started lagging over the
summer so I gave it a brief vacation. Since it started back up it's been
restructured slightly. I made a list of projects people always talk about,
i.e., planting a garden, starting a tourney herbal kit, starting an herbal
and suggested that individuals start on one of these as a project. I also
have been talking to individuals about working with selected topics for a
presentation type discussion. Next month, one of the members who is or was
an EMS technician to show her herbal medicine kit and explain what's she
put into it and why. We've also going to be scheduling a field walk
quarterly to identify native plants and their uses. In January on of my
friends who does natural dying is coming down for a Dying and Spining
workshop. I'm trying to get the individuals in the group develop interests
that they can share rather than having the group and listen to one or two
people....

Anyone is welcome. Sometimes the walks are held at events so that
makes it relatively easy for people to join in.

I know the An Tir Herbalist Guild is quite a good one. I'm trying to find
a contact number for them...

Hopes this gives you some ideas. Let me know what you do maybe I can
borrow some of your ideas....
