 Hmmmm. I have tons of rose water at home. I wonder if a rock candy
experiment isn't in order. I just can't imagine that the sap of a rose bush
would be extracted

I actually don't hink that you can get much siryp from a rosebush like a
tree.  I've collected sap from wild lettuce and it's a very slow and
tedious process.  Trees are bigger and produce more....

Yes, I think R. rugosa alba, or rosa alba.  I think that there is another
but don't have any rose stuff with me.... The eglantine and damask are pink
and might work.
