HERB - RE:question-spring

Greetings All,

I don't know if this will help any but I have discovered that fennel is
a remarkably self sowing wild plant here in central CA with large flower
heads for a good length of time.  Mugwort, lavender, scented geranium,
lemon verbena, oregano, majoram have all come through this summer in
good shape despite the fact that I haven't been able to water more than
twice and temps have been over 100 much of the summer with now rain.
