I kind of thought there might be some interest in that. And just think of
the confused looks when I walk into a class of Tudors and Elizabethans in a
bog dress with a Kievan Rus name :). I haven't finished working through the
materials yet, I'll let you know what I decide, I may narrow the topic
further.

So would I :). Honestly, I've tried to work on this, but it's pretty
difficult. Right now, I've only worked out some varieties of fruits and
vegetables, mostly by comparing appearance with period illuminations or
relying on archaeological evidence. I don't have nearly enough material for
a full class.
