Greetings and hallucinations, unto the herb-lorists of Ansteorra!

I am new to this list, and truth to tell, somewhat new to the herbalism scene 
in general.   I am also an Aethelmearckian, not an Ansteorran...so I hope you 
will bear with me, while I play fly-on-the-wall.  :D :D :D :D

I brew various teas and decoctions, mostly from family recipes;  being in the 
country, means I can go on frequent herb-hunts in the woods (although through 
sheer Mundane laziness, I confess I usually go to my local wholesaler when I 
want supplies.)

Are there any good, encyclopedia-type sources you would recommend?   Period 
sources?  (I have a birthday coming up...so now's the time for me to ask!)
