"The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy" lists the
following properties for Ylang-Ylang oil:
Ylang-Ylang *Cananga ordorata* is a tree native to Indonesia, the
Philippines, and the Comoro Islands, the essential oil is obtained from
the flowers. Its aromatherapeutic uses include : Palpitations, Anxiety,
Depresssion, High Blood Pressure, and as a Sedative and general tonic.
It is also used in Perfumery.
antiseptic, good for greasy skin and as a general oil

Unfortunately, the index is not all that it could be in this book, and I
can't find any recipies with it as an ingredient, but there are some good
on-line resources that have been discussed here, and they would probably
have more info. Try a search for Ylang-Ylang, you will probably come up
with lots more.
