Welll... I did get to look through a period copy of Markham's English
Housewife-- the Laurel Staff bought it for Jaella of Armida last
Christmas.

And I'm working (slowly) on digitizing a 1653 book from our collection:
John French's _Art of Distillation_. From the original.
