Tansy is included in Charlemagne's CAPITULARE DE VILLIS (ca. 900), and also 
in Walahfrid Strabo's HORTULUS (ca. 945).

But as a bit of trivia, the experts haven't agreed on the translation of the 
Latin "costa" in the St. Gall medicinal garden (ca. 925).  Horn and Born 
translate it as costmary.  John Harvey translates it as tansy.  Generally, 
I've found Harvey more reliable, but in this case, tansy appears in the 
HORTULUS as "ambrosia".  The word "costa" doesn't appear anywhere in the 
Latin text of the tansy poem.  For that reason, I've generally used Horn and 
Born's translation as costmary.

Sorry, as I said, this is really trivial, especially since we know tansy was 
in use during this period and area.
