HERB - lilac

Hi Yasmina,
Perhaps I can help you.  I have been doing some
reserch on Lilacs because I love the aroma and because
my daughters first choice for personna name was Lilah
which we read is Persian for lilac!  I never was able
to find it with a date, thou.  But the research area
in the library has some great garden books complete
with pictures.  Lilacs first began in the
orient/middle
east and spread to Europe.  Yes, they are period!
