Jewelweed also grows near nettles and does a bang-up job on them.  At the
base of the very translucent stem there is a reddish knot that the roots
grow from.   It doesn't hold a lot of the medicinal properties as it dries,
but I once bought a lotion that I think was the juice of jewelweed mixed
with white clay.  It worked very well for about a year then it went bad.

Don't have it or nettles out here.  Have some PI, but not much.  too dry.
