The bright orange blossoming plant may be jewel weed, also known as
touch-me-not (_Impatiens spp_). It likes moist shady habitats. I have
rarely seen it growing in Calontir, and never very near poison ivy, which
seems to prefer sunny edges, not too wet. The juice of jewel weed is
sometimes used to counteract the sting of nettles (which do sometimes
grow nearby), and may be effective to help relieve the blisters caused by
poison ivy, but I certainly would call the doctor if I were you.
